The School owes all its improvement down the years entirely to its Founder Secretary Vidya Seva Ratnam Sri K. Santhanam, B.Com, F.C.A. a leading Chartered Accountant of the town who incidentally till his demise was also the Secretary of the now 126 year old educational agency namely the National College Council.
In the initial period, the Vidyalaya was functioning in rented premises in the Dhakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha campus. Not being blessed with any kind of external Aid, the school had to be maintained by regular contributions from the members themselves.
Subsequently the present site at 35, Tennur High Road was acquired in 1978 by Vidya Seva Ratnam Auditor by Sri.K.Santhanam in the teeth of severe opposition from his own well-meaning fellow members. This proved to be a turning point in the history of the Institution.
